#castrovalley#news#fyi – Info from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office on an incident last night shortly after 6 PM.

Location: Somerset/Wisteria. Castro Valley RP called in an assault with injuries. Gregory Orr (DOB 05/15/86) was bleeding from the brachial artery. Deputies applied a tourniquet and transported him to Eden Hospital.

It was determined through the investigation that he dragged his girlfriend by the feet on the asphalt, causing road rash on her back after assaulting her in a vehicle as she tried to get away from him. It was also later determined he was involved in a domestic violence with another girlfriend in Antioch. Victim disclosed during that incident he assaulted his other girlfriend and cut himself during that assault. Antioch PD was contacted and confirmed Orr was a suspect in a domestic violence incident in their jurisdiction.

They were advised he was in-custody with us and being treated at Eden Hospital. While at Eden Hospital, deputies had a minor use of force (UOF) with Orr and control holds were applied. He was later sedated by medical staff and remains at Eden Hospital pending medical clearance. no deputies were injured during the UOF.
